Tagger, powered by Bid Intelligence, is designed to accurately classify proposals. By analyzing project descriptions, the system automatically generates proposal tags that identify the specific work, asset, and facility type in a proposal. This allows users to filter down to specific proposals in a letting without opening each one of them.
While proposal tags provide an immediate overview of project scope, they don’t replace existing agency workflows. Instead, they act as a complementary layer to the specific work types entered by an agency, which continue to be displayed at the letting and proposal level.
Proposal tags are visible to both agency and contractor users.
Access proposal tags
- Select a specific Letting to view the proposals within it. Proposal tags will display on each proposal card.
- Click on a Proposal to open its details.
- Locate the Project Description section near the top of the page.
-
Review the AI Tags displayed directly below the description, which classify the project by work intent or assets like resurfacing, bridge work, or traffic control.
Filter by work type
Use the filter to see proposals that match selected work types. You can select more than one option.
- On the Lettings page, click the Any work tag drop down menu.
- Click the work type to add it to the filter. The Bid Express service displays the proposals that match the filter selections.
- To add an additional work type, click the drop-down menu again and click the work type.
Applied filters are shown under the search bar of the proposal. Click the X for any entry you no longer want to see.
Remove all the filters by selecting Clear filters.
