Welcome! This page is dedicated to the particular workflows of subcontractors who are seeking work with the Bid Express® service at Bidx.com. If you're new to Bidx.com, the resources in Steps 1-2 will help you get started. If you're already familiar, skip ahead to Steps 3-5 to learn about Bid Express tools and features to help you find and connect with work opportunities and your contractor community. |
Step 1: Register for an account
It's easy to sign up for a contractor account on Bidx.com. There are three account types to choose from: Starter, Basic, and Pro.
If you don't intend to submit bids as a prime bidder, we recommend the Basic tier account. This account type gives you access to the tools outlined on this page.

Take advantage of these tools designed to help you find more work on Bidx.com.
Favorite agencies, counties, and items
Use the Favorites feature to select your preferred agencies, counties, and items to work with. The service will deliver matching work directly to you with proposal recommendations.
Proposal recommendations
Proposal recommendations reduce the amount of time you spend searching for interesting proposals by delivering them directly to you. When you select your favorite agencies, counties, and items, the service will match proposals to your preferences and display recommendations on your Workspace or in an email digest.
Workspace
Use the Workspace to track recommended and followed proposals or view a calendar of letting dates from your favorite agencies.

Step 4: Connect with stakeholders
Small Business Network®
The Bid Express Small Business Network® allows prime contractors and subcontractors to exchange sub-quotes and communicate about proposals within the Bidx.com site. Unlimited sub-quotes can be posted, and outstanding sub-quote requests can be viewed at a glance.
Plan holders
When an agency chooses to make their plan holders list public, you can see who is a plan holder and who is eligible to bid on a proposal of interest to you. Use this information to connect and do business with potential prime bidders.
