Once the letting has ended, you'll see an updated letting heading with the updated status and information about whether or not apparent bids have been published.
If the agency has posted apparent bids, you'll see the option to switch your view between bid tabulations and apparent bids. It's a drop-down option on any letting page where apparent bids have been published. You'll also see this option on any individual proposals for which apparent bids have been published.
Apparent Bids shows the bids that have been entered for the proposal. The results display the apparent low bidder, bid total, and any custom fields added by the agency. Bids still need to be confirmed before the contract is awarded.
Bids marked as non-responsive display at the bottom of the list and show the reason. Any bid that has been automatically withdrawn also displays at the bottom of the list.
You can also download the apparent bids as a .csv (comma-separated value) file or as a PDF file. Click the appropriate Export option from either the letting or proposal page.
The apparent bids are available as soon as the agency posts them. There is no need to refresh the page unless it's after the letting day.
- Select the letting from the Lettings page.
- If you're viewing the apparent bids for a specific proposal, select the proposal.
- Use the drop-down menu to select Apparent Bids.
The Bid Express service displays the apparent bids for the letting or proposal.
Note: The agency has an option of using your bidder name from your Digital ID™ or your bidder name from the vendor table. If your bidder name in the apparent bids list doesn't match what you entered for your Digital ID, it is because of this option.
